Like every year, I made my annual fall trip to the bear mountains. And these are few of the scapes I captured. I love how the sun rays make their way through the trees and it’s always so much fun capturing it. Every little change in angle of the camera, changes the pictures completely as the sun rays pierce through the foliage. There are no words to describe the beautiful reds and yellows and oranges that ornate the trees and the grounds.
Every year during fall I think fall is the best season. Things are getting cooler, festivities are nearing and the dying leaves go with one last bang of amazing colors. But then as spring arrives, it seems to be the best season. Finally fresh green leaves, the sun is out, beautiful flowers adorning the trees. Actually, may be I like spring more because it’s the end to the usual gruesome winter. Arrrrghhhh I will never be able to decide…
Fall is such a depressing season isn’t it? The leaves fall, the trees stand baring all, days are shorter, the body penetrating cold, the sun being barely visible – the list is endless. And to top it all- We call it the Fall! yes its the fall of it all.
But think of this- Before the leaves fall off, the reds and yellows and oranges adorn those trees even beyond what the flowers can do. The whole landscape changes! I think fall is the friend you want in real life. When things are dark and gloomy and your heading for some rough times- they come on, give their best colors and make you look beautiful and sacrifice everything in doing so. Flowers are the friends who stick around you when life is beautiful and sunny. Unfortunately we admire the flowers and they are gone soon. But by the time we admire Fall, they are long gone- but they have given you that last push to brave the rough weather. I strongly believe- I never mind if my friends cannot join in my happiness and celebrations, but I respect those who stand by me in tough times.
I don’t care whether I like the spring or the Autumn, but one thing is for sure- I do have friends like the autumn- always there in my hard times and I promise to try my best to be that last leaf standing by their side in their lives.
