Fish in the Sky

Let your imagination go wild here. I am sure, you have looked at the sky and so many times the clouds are in a formation that resembles something. I just feel that the sky is my “goto” for dreaming and imagining things- an exercise I thoroughly enjoy! I have talked a lot about the sky and the clouds and the sunset- and the captivating play of colors it has.

This scape is just another example of the inherent beauty of nature. The picture was taken in Sedona, on the mountain where the Sedona Airport stands. This particular place is well known among tourists to see the sunset. In far distance, at the lower edge of the picture are mountains, and above it the layers of clouds. Imagine all these layers of clouds are waves in the ocean and in between there is this fish. It is making its way through the tyrant and angry waters which have turned hell orange and red. But then there are times when I look at this image and I fall in love with the royal gold and orange, then they don’t seem to be tyrant anymore, and I feel there is this blessed fish which has made its way out of the ocean into the heavenly skies.

There are a million ways to interpret something when we let our imagination run wild, but we give ourselves fewer and fewer opportunities to do so. So next time, when you walk out of work, or are taking a stroll in the evening and the sun’s setting, look at those skies, and let your imagination run wild. Will you look for this divine fish, or you will make your own fable?
