Cones

Yet another stint at macro! I really love the colors, the shape and the texture that has been reproduced in these pictures. I just love when something so small can be blown up to a size where every little detail of an object can be observed and cherished. How frequently do we step on, kick around and totally ignore these little cones. They are just too dispensable in our fast and busy life. But lets snooze, slow down and observe them here. Don’t they capture you attention, notice every little detail, the change in color, the beautifully consistent and tapering shape, the moisture that has precipitated over it, giving it this charming freshness. So I must say again, the smallest and most insignificant objects have a certain beauty to them, you just need to slow down and notice them. If I may say something philosophical- if you can derive joy from the smallest things in life- life will be a bundle of happiness!
