I am passionate about cars. And that doesn’t mean only the exotic. The Beetle has a special place in the history of cars, introduced in 1938, it has been around for a long time. Its unfamiliar design has stood the test of time. Its actually a cult.

This particular one caught my attention, while in downtown Cancun, Mexico. The Beetle, is a big part of daily life in Mexico. This one felt so much at home, if I may say. The red color with patchwork, it seemed to have gotten a punch in the face.  Its so easy to humanize the features of a car.  This one looks sad and ashamed after the punch.
